[20:04:24] <+Charissa> "I hope it doesn't take Marshall Sprax too long."

[20:06:06] <+Coch> "When Sprax gets here with the army, what are we going to do?"
[20:12:57] <.Bynw> *the sounds of swords slashing through the underbrush alter the Lords that others are coming*

[20:17:22] <.Bynw> *a score of men enter the encampent led by Sprax and one of the mercenary lieutenants. some of the men are mercenaries others are Warp Woods soldiers.

[20:18:58] <+Seth> ::Hurries to Sprax side:: "How do we stand Marshal?"
[20:19:05] <+Coch> "The town of my advisor is not far from the palace.  We maybe able to get  boats there and bypass that wall"
[20:20:33] <+Seth> ::takes a look at Sprax to see if he is injured::
[20:21:04] <.Bynw> *Sprax holds up his hand staying Seth* "I'm alright my Lord."
[20:24:04] <+Seth> "What has happened Marshal?"
[20:24:14] <.Bynw> "We are in bad shape. Our army got split when the Egorians hit the construction site of the trade road. I don't know where the others are located"
[20:25:47] <.Bynw> *Sprax continues to report* "As we followed the Egorian attack force it became harder and harder to cross through the swamps. The closer we get the capital the harder it is to get to it. Moving away isnt as difficult"
[20:26:04] <+Seth> "Where is Major Kohel?"
[20:26:59] <.Bynw> "Hopefully he has more of the army that I do. We took a good beating at the trade road"

[20:27:45] <+Charissa> "Is the good Major a Deryni?"

[20:28:56] <+Charissa> "Seth, did you by any chance set up a communication avenue with him?"
[20:29:25] <+Seth> "No I'm afraid not." ::looks disappointed::
[20:29:55] <+Charissa> "that's alright, Seth, you had no idea the army would get split up.  Maybe we can still try to contact him though."

[20:32:54] <+Seth> ::grips Sprax shoulder with a smile:: "You've done a heroic job under poor conditions Marshal. But now we must re-take the capital somehow."

  [20:43:05] <+Seth> "We need Allies. We can try to contact the Major on the way. But it seems without powerful Magic we will never even reach the capital no matter the size of the army."

  [20:44:25] <.Bynw> *Jack* "I had a vision of my master pointing me there. It must be why I came here in the first place. Because this war would break out and then I would be in a position to goto Egoria"

  [20:48:55] <+Seth> ::his eyes narrow as he focuses on Jack:: "Are you sure Lord Jack?"
  [20:49:28] <+Jack> "Yeah, the king is dead."
  [20:49:49] <+Charissa> "any knowledge of how he died?"
  [20:50:21] <+Seth> ::sighs:: "I have only guesses. If Lord Jack says he is sure, then I say we trust him."
  [20:50:49] <+Charissa> "alright, let's go toward Egoria then."
  [20:51:45] <+Seth> "Then we will need to have the Major bring the rest of our army."
  [20:53:27] <+Charissa> "did you try contacting the Major, Seth?"
  [20:53:51] <+Seth> ::shakes his head no:: "my powers are modest in this way."
  [20:54:05] <+Charissa> "ok, let's try to do it together, then."
  [20:54:13] <+Coch> "If you want I'll go find the Major and the rest of the army"
  [20:54:36] <+Charissa> "Coch, let us try to find out where he may be first."
  [20:55:21] <+Seth> ::Takes a seat under a tree, making room for Charissa to sit next to him.::

  [21:02:33] <+Seth> ::looks thoughtful for a moment:: "I think it might be safer if I used alternate methods to find our good general your majesty. The swamps are not safe in these times and we wouldn't want the egorians to come down on us or know we where comming."

  [21:03:17] <+Charissa> "we don't want the Egorians a chance to regroup"
  [21:08:55] <+Seth> ::Nods:: "Lord Kevin must have been very successful in his work. It is the only answer to how the king suddenly died."
  [21:12:22] <+Seth> ::quickly draws a hasty diagram in the dirt infront of him. In the middle of the circle is a stick figure with a sword in hand. It is crude, but drawn with practiced motions. He closes his eyes and chants in latin so low that only a word or two could be over heard. He claps his hands and opens his eyes::

  [21:13:51] <+Seth> ::The iris of his eyes are gone and only milky white orbs stare out from the sockets. An erie feeling of being watched passes through everyone present::
  [21:15:24] <+Seth> ::his head slowly turn north and for a moment he stares, then he shuts his eyes and his hand snakes out and scrubs the diagram away. His eyes open and are normal again::
  [21:16:26] <+Seth> "He is north of here. Not to far. He stands between us and the Egorians, we can meet him on the way."
  [21:16:56] <+Jack> "Great"
  [21:16:56] <+Charissa> "good. Let's move then as soon as we can."
  [21:18:29] <+Seth> ::Stands and walks towards his mount:: "I need a drink and that will not happen here. We are agreed that we march to Egora and stick to the original plan then?"

  [21:20:35] <+Seth> ::Mounts up:: "Jack I hope you are right."

  [21:23:38] <+Seth> ::To Sprax:: "Pass word Marshal, we will march north. Send out scouts and a runner with a message for the Major. Tell the runner to inform the Major we will meet up with him, no more."

  [21:25:50] <.Bynw> *Bishop Nidar* "Lord Seth. When we meet up with the major. I would like to take a few men and try to put a thorn in the side of that heathen traitor."
  [21:28:59] <+Seth> ::Raises an eyebrow at the Bishop:: "We have precious few men to spare, but what we can spare we will. You can keep an eye on the traitor for us. Have you sent word to the church of the pagan's actions and the murder of our lords disciples?"
  [21:29:45] <+Seth> ::makes the sign of the cross on his chest at the mention of "our lord"::
  [21:31:12] <.Bynw> *Bishop Nidar* "Word is being sent."
  [21:34:41] <+Seth> ::smiles at the Bishop:: "I'm sure his holiness the pope will take notice of those involved in putting down a pagan uprising and bringing the whole of Warp Wood into the fold hmmm?" ::smiles over his shoulder at the bishop and kicks his horse into a walk to the north::

  [21:36:00] <.Bynw> *the regrouped army heads north again to Egoria. they way is easier, just as Chadwick had promised. by nightfall they have met up with Major Kohel and the rest of the Warp Wood army, now numbering over 100 men as Major Kohel has conscripted villagers. amoung those leading the army are the men of Master Seafort.*
