The World of Teara Adan


Teara Adan uses Fudge Points for advancement and character development instead of Experiance Points.

Fudge Points are awarded by the GM as they see fit. And by the other players in the game at the end of each session. This peer to peer aware of FP is vital to the available Fudge Points of the characters for use in-game and between games for advancement.

At the end of each game session the players have ONE Fudge Point to give away to another player. This Fudge Point cannot be kept, given to oneself or saved for a later session. It is either given to another player or lost forever.

To increase a skill, attribute or obtain new Gifts or Faults please consult the table below:

Raising a Skill
From: To: FP Cost
Terrible Poor 1
Poor Mediocre 2
Mediocre Fair 3
Fair Good 5
Good Great 8
Great Superb 14
Superb Epic 25
+ GM Permission
Raising an Attribute costs three times (3x) as many Fudge Points as raising a Skill of the same level.
You may add a Gift for 9 Fudge Points + GM Permission.

These costs are not fixed and can be modified per campaign by the GM as needed.
You cannot raise a trait from Epic to Legendary by spending Fudge Points.
