The World of Teara Adan
Racial Packages:
- Human [No Cost]
- A standard Human is the template from which all other races are judged. A standard Human has no special benefits or restrictions.

- Half-Elf [No Cost]
- A Half-Elf is a character of mixed parentage. Generally human and elf, although there are half-elves that come from other unions with elves. Elves cannot successfully breed with Pure Strain Humans and the offspring of any Elf-Deryni crossing will result in either a Deryni or a Half-Elf. All Half-Elves can see well in the dark, far better than that of standard Humans.
- A Half-Elf character has the following basic traits:
- Gifts: Longevity, Night Vision
- Faults: Social Stigma to some humans and most Elves.

- Middle Age: 62
- Old: 93
- Venerable: 125
- Maximum: +3d20
- Deryni [Cost: 1 Gift]
- The Deryni are a race of humans with hereditary psychic abilities. All Deryni have the Psionic Ability gift and several psionic based skills. Otherwise they confirm are identical to standard Humans.
- A Deryni character has the following basic traits:
- Gift: Psionic Ability (Psionic Attribute @ Fair)
- These Psionic Skills at +1 or Poor
- Body Control
- Casting
- Mind Reading
- Mind Speech
- Shields
- Truth Reading
- Fault: Pride
- Life Span

- Arrin [Cost: 1 Gift]
- The Arrin people, dispite any simularities, are not native to the World of Teara Adan. They are decendants of the crew of a crashed spacecraft from a distant star system. They have tend to have a stronger resistance to disease and toxins. And have longer lifespan from standard Humans to which they resemble from Northern lands. Blond hair and blue eyes are the norm. The Arrin knows his abilities are better than those around him, giving him a bit of arrogant superiority.

- Faults: Fanaticism (Arrin Superiority)

- Elf [Cost: 2 Gifts]
- The Elves are an ancient people. One of the first of the new races of mankind to emerge from the Black Years. They have superior night vision allowing them to see in all but the darkest of places. Elves seem to be naturally adept with magic and many of them have become powerful wizards. Elves have a haunting beauty about them and are tall and lean.
- An Elf character has the following basic traits:
- Gifts: Unaging, Night Vision, Charisma
- Faults: Fanaticism (Elven Superiority)
- Agility: +1
- Stamina: -1

- Dwarf [Cost: 2 Gifts]
- Short and stocky. A race nearly as old as the Elves and emerged around the same millenium of the Black Years. This race is naturally at home underground. The can see just as well and better in the darkness than their Elven cousins. They are a hearty race of minors and craftsman. Loyal to family and bloodlines
- A Dwarf character has the following basic traits:
- Gifts: Longevity, Resistance to Toxins, Night Vision
- Faults: Loyalty to Clan, Braggart
- Stamina: +1
- Strength: +1
- Agility: -1
- Life Span
- Adulthood: 20
- Middle Age: 50
- Old: 75
- Venerable: 100
- Maximum: +5d20
- Pure Strain Human [Cost: 3 Gifts]
- The ultimate in Human perfection. A PSH has a genetic code that is permanently locked and unalterable. They have immunities and resistances to toxins, disease, radiation. But they have no ability at Gramarye or Psionics as these mutations are not allowed to enter their genetic makeup.
- A Pure Strain Human (PSH) character has the following basic traits:
- Gifts: Immunity to Radiation & Disease, Resistance to Toxins
- Faults: Unable to aquire Psionic Ability or Gramarye Gifts, Susceptibility to Magic

- Haldren [Cost: 4 Gifts]
- These reptilian humanoids are a hybred between dragon and humankind. Haldren are larger and stronger than their human parent and many follow the magical paths granted by their dragon blood. Most have some-kind of dragon characteristic.
- A Haldren character has the following basic traits:
- Gifts: Longevity, Night Vision, Immunity to (Special depends on the Dragon parentage type)
- Strength: Scale +2
- Stamina: +1
- Wits +1
- Faults: Social Stigma to most full true Dragons, Dragon Greed
- Life Span

- Old: 245
- Venerable: 460
- Maximum: +5d100 +140 years
- Sckoraali [No Cost]
- These humanoids are a breed of amphibious reptiles. Larger and stronger than humans and at home on dry land or in the water.
- A Sckoraali character has the following basic traits:
- Gifts: Night Vision
- Strength: Scale +1
- Faults: Bad Reputation (Slaver), Social Stigma as a slave trader in most northern lands
